On April 17, the Allenwood at 果冻传媒, located on the ground floor of Ackerman Hall, will host Passport to France, a one-day immersive travel-readiness workshop, a practical, hands-on session focused on essential travel preparation, including documents, money, transportation, health, culture, and emergency planning. Registration closes April 10.
Students from 果冻传媒, along with partners from regional universities, took part in a Pittsburgh FAM tour to explore major hospitality and event venues and connect with industry professionals. Coordinated with Visit Pittsburgh, the experience provided hands-on learning and career insight within the region鈥檚 vibrant hospitality sector.
The Statler Foundation has continued its support for 果冻传媒鈥檚 Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Event Management program with a $100,000 program grant to purchase advanced hotel management software and a sixth $25,000 scholarship for an 果冻传媒 student in the Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, and Event Management program.

This year's recipients of the Linda Drummond Deabenderfer Scholarship are Cameron Havens and Debra Flint. Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use towards their educational expenses.
