¹û¶³´«Ã½ participates in , a secure, global internet service developed for the international research and education community. With ¹û¶³´«Ã½’s participation, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ users can connect to a participating university’s wireless network. Likewise, visitors from other universities that participate in eduroam can connect to ¹û¶³´«Ã½'s wireless network.

eduroam is currently available in more than 100 countries worldwide. You can find participating countries and universities on the . If you are planning a trip to a participating university, please make note of the following instructions for connecting to that university’s wireless network.

Anyone connecting to eduroam is held to the same network guidelines and policies as those connecting to ¹û¶³´«Ã½’s policies and guidelines.

¹û¶³´«Ã½ Users Connecting to eduroam when Visiting a Participating University

If you have your device or computer configured with the proper ¹û¶³´«Ã½ connection criteria, you will seamlessly connect to the university’s wireless network. You can set this up at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ prior to leaving campus.

1. Select eduroam from the list of available wireless networks on your device or laptop.

2. Enter your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ network address and ¹û¶³´«Ã½ network password. Enter the username in the following format: ¹û¶³´«Ã½username@iupmsd.iup.edu

   • Replace ¹û¶³´«Ã½username with your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ username. Note: this is not your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ email alias.

3. If you are having issues connecting, please contact the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ IT Support Center at 724-357-4000.

4. When you are at the participating university, you can connect to their eduroam network.

Visitors Connecting to eduroam at ¹û¶³´«Ã½

If you are from a university that participates in eduroam and are visiting ¹û¶³´«Ã½, you can connect to eduroam:

1. Select eduroam from the list of available wireless networks.

2. If requested, enter the required login information from your home institution.

   • If you are having issues with your connection, you will need to contact your home institution.
